When documents in QDLS are updated, some space can be reserved but not used
at the end of the document.
RGZDLO (ReorGaniZe Document Library Objects) will truncate document,
freeing this reserved space.
If you do not have tremendous OfficeVision/400 activity (document editing
etc.) on system, this can be run once a year (or never).
(Note that this command relates only to DLOs, not to IFS files.)

Subject: Reorganize Document Library Objects

Hello again:

We came across a procedure documented a year ago by our now retired Ops
manager. The command is as follows: RGZDLO DLO(*ALL) FLR(*ANY) MAIL(*YES)
How often should this be run? We do have quite a few documents on the
system. Are there any dangers involved?

I would appreciate any information anyone has to offer.

Thanks,

Steve Roach
