The nicest feature of OV/400:  once you press the ENTER key, your work is
saved.  Bomb the system or bomb your workstation, your work is safe.  Just
restart and re-enter your document.  And choose:  continue where you left
off, or start from the last saved version.

Let's see M$/Word do that!!   (:

It's a difference in philosophy:  The AS/400 (as a commercial piece of
software) emphasized the reliability and protection of data above all else.
The PC world leaves protecting data to the user.
