Thanks everyone for sorting this out for me.... looks like I opened a can of worms with this thread. :) My NetServer is now up and running, real slick if I may say so. The software Bryan Dietz mentions is still there, they just have the link wrong on the NetServer web pages. It can be found at: ftp://testcase.boulder.ibm.com/as400/fromibm/ApiSamples/smbcmd.savf It's basically cmd frontends to the NetServer API's with some CL's thrown in. They don't all work for me, maybe because they were made for v4r2 and I'm on v4r3. But it's still a good start. Now if Midrange Computing Magazine was to publish some decent green screen frontends...... hint,hint ;) Thank you for your help.
