Cleaning cartridges for older 8mm tape drives -- MIDRANGE-L

We have a Fathom Technologies DC20-H tape drive that we use for nightly
backups.  Some time ago we re-ordered cleaning cartridges for the
drive.  We were told that the Sony QG6-CL cleaning cartridges were no
longer being made.  We ordered the replacement cartridges only to
discover that these cartridges do not re-set whatever counter causes the
tape drive to warn us when it is time to clean the drive.

My question is this:  Does anybody know of an 8mm cleaning cartridge
that will work 100% with the older Exabyte 8mm tape drives.  The
flashing lights on our drive are more than a little annoying.
