NT by all means.  I have 98 and NT machines at work and home.  In my experience,
applications will misbehave in both OS', but they won't cause the NT boxes to
crash and burn.  The only real drawbacks to NT that I can find are:
1.  some older DOS apps that run in '98 won't run in NT.
2.  there are more security related things in the OS to contend with such as
logging on as administrator to perform hardware and software upgrades.

The fact that I only need to turn off my NT machines once every few weeks makes
me extremely happy.
