To start AS/400 NetServer, follow these steps:

1       In AS/400 Operations Navigator, expand Network.
2       Expand Servers.
3       Click TCP/IP to retrieve a list of the TCP/IP servers available.
4       Right-click AS/400 NetServer and select Start.

To create a file share using AS/400 NetServer, follow these steps:

1       In AS/400 Operations Navigator, expand Network.
2       Expand Servers.
3       Click TCP/IP to retrieve a list of the TCP/IP servers available.
4       Double-click AS/400 NetServer.
5       Right-click Shared Objects and select New and then File.
6       Click Help if you need more information to complete the fields.
7       Click OK.
