Betterment of AS/400

Hello All,
                      Since all the  Senior's were heading for  COMMON,  I
just would like to share some of the things I come across on
AS/400 while working has a Programmer Analyst.

QUERY/400
                                 This is one of the best  and easy tool.
But,  for  "Selecting and Sequencing the fields",  it is realy painfull to
browse all the fields ( especially if the database has more fields).

                                   Will it not be better, if we have some
Position to............, either by field name or a part of  field name, (
same like  PDM ) , and also much better if we can able to search by Text.


Same for "Select Records"   also

                                    To the best of my knowledge , this
facilty is not avaiable on Query/400.

                                    Inventing such a good system like this,
for IBM it is a very simple task, but it will give a great relief for the
Programmers and users who use Query/400.
