The 3477 manual should describe how to config a printer type.  They probably
could set it to HP LJ II and it would work fine.

They can get into setup usually by holding the setup key while powering on
the display.

They should make sure that the old printer description is varied off so that
the AS/400 can create a new one if necessary.
