 Hi...

 I know this is a long post, but a lot of back ground is required to ask
the question. I posted this on notes.net on Friday but have
generated no responses. I've looked for documentation of the notes.ini
configuration but have found none. Any ideas?

original post on notes.net:

 We have an AS/400 with native Domino running notes. The AS400 has
multiple network interfaces
 configured which allow us to provide some services on our intranet and
others over the internet.
 Specificallly, we have defined the following IP's and respective
servers:

 172.20.16.2 NOTESSERV1 (Internal notes and AS400 clients only (Domino
server and 5250 clients))
 172.20.30.30 WEBSERVER1 (Web Server available on Internet (this is a
Domino server))
 172.20.29.29 SMTPMTA (Message Transfer Agent connected to Internet
(this is a Domino Server too))

 Each of the Servers are defined on the AS/400 and each has own address
book, notes.ini, etc. The web
 server is basically a document repository shared by three colleges and
is in a separate notes Domain. The
 SMTPMTA notes server simply routes mail to and from the internet. The
NOTESSERV1 server is our
 primary notes server and is visible only on our local network. We use
address translation in our cisco
 router to make the "172.20.29.29" and "172.20.30.30" into our assigned
class "c" internet addresses of the
 form "205.xxx.xxx.xxx".

 When we setup the first of the 3 servers, we used the same IP address
used internally for the AS/400
 itself. This address is not visible an the internet and we need to keep
it that way. We would like to make
 users mail, both notes and internet, available via the HTTP server on
this internal notes server. We could
 create another Notes Server on the /400 to do this, but that would
require us to replicate all of the mail,
 calendars, etc. and we do not have space for duplicates of everthing.

 Can I create another Port on this internal notes server with an IP
address which is visible on the internet?
 What configuration changes would I need to make? Currently the Notes
NAB Server document lists a
 port of TCPIP, Notes Network of NETWORK1, and Net Address of NOTESSERV1
which is
 "enabled".

 The notes.ini has the following lines:

 TCPIP=TCP, 0, 15, 0
 TCPIP_TcpAddress=0,172.20.16.2:1352
 $$HasLANPort=1
 Ports=TCPIP

 I tried adding a port called WEB1 on NETWORK1 with a Net Address of
WBmail in the server NAB. I
 also added a line to the notes.ini as

 WEB1_TcpIpAddress=1,172.20.31.31:80

 But that doesnot work. I'm guessing what that line should look like as
I cannot find documentation for the
 the portion to the left of the actual IP address and port.

 Any ideas? Thanks for taking the time to read this!
