You might want to look at a product call FAXBox from DCE systems
(www.faxbox.com/index.htm) . I haven't tried the product but was looking
for a similar solution a while back and it looked like it may have met our
needs.

Our users already have faxing capabilities from their desktop using
FaxSys and our network guys are looking at installing a DID faxing
server, but neither of these at this time appears to be able to readily
help us with our AS/400 faxing needs. Our primary need is to fax
contract type documents created on the AS/400 (JDEdwards) and run
through OPTIO where they are reformatted to look pretty and converted to
ASCII. We currently print these out and manually fax them. Can anyone
help me locate (if one exists) a cheap, easy-to-use faxing solution for
the AS/400 that is simple enough that MIS can install it and then give
it to the users with little babysitting? Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.
