I cannot find anywhere in the books where is says what types of files can be
used for the EXTNAME keyword. I have a *PRTF named WPRTCTL with
several formats, one of which is named DETAIL. I have the following D-specs
in my program:
D PRTDS E DS
ExtName(WPRTCTL:DETAIL)
D
Prefix(ds_)
D
Occurs(500)
D
Inz
I get the following message when I compile the program:
*RNF3530 Data structure PRTDS has no valid subfields
Can you only use physical files for this? Any help will be appreciated.
