Tks Paul ,
for all those complete informations.
I will look forward in this direction.
I have also found an other alternative which is a twinax gateway between
AS/236 and the Lan with emulation software full 32 bit over IP (Nlynx
System). It gives Display , Printer and file transfer, but don't give sql
access to data.
Tks Again

Network without using SNA SERVER??

Dear Philippe,

The AS/36 model 236 consists of AS/400 RISC processor based hardware running
an updated version of the original S/36 operating system known as SSP.
Because of the underlying AS/400 based nature of an AS/36, you gain some
added capabilities that were not available on the original S/36. There is a
PRPQ available for the AS/36 model 236 known as the DOS Client for SSP PRPQ.
This PRPQ effectively adds Client Access/400 for DOS capabilities to your
AS/36 including the QPCSUPP subsystem. ..............

Best Regards,

/Paul
