I normally just use a separate record format for the command keys to
display at the bottom of a subfile screen. I usually 'write' this format
just before 'exfmt'ing the subfile control record format.

Subject: Footer on a subfile display
I am having trouble understanding how to display a footer on a subfile
display. I can do it, but only with incantations, direct copying, and a
small addition of witch's potions.
Would someone please post a simple example of the code that makes a footer
appear and stay on the bottom of the screen, while the panel above pages up
and down?
I apologize for not being more specific with my problem but I think if I
knew a more specific explanation I would also know where to look to find
the answer.
