However, what's missing in FTP is the ability to match fields (ie: CSV) with DDS specs on the AS400 which is why it is so important to have that ability. The PCTRAN program, written by Synapse engineers many years ago (amazing it still runs) was the first to solve this problem. Now you can have file xfer over TCP/IP with the same field oriented features in the new Synapse NetWolf product. Claimer: I recommend and sell Synapse products.
