You never used the Citibank GUI touch screen ATM's ?

This is far better laid out than any simple 'green-text' based ATM than I have
seen (and I've seen many different ones in different countries)

Note though, the GUI and green-text ATM's are equal in functionality.

This, I feel, should be the deciding factor in GUI/non-GUI questions; does the
GUI add (or give the appearance of adding) functionality without adding (or
again, giving the appearance of adding) complexity to the end-user ?

Answer 'yes' to both, and go with a GUI, answer 'no' to either, stick with the
less pretty green screen...
