Be careful what you wish for.  Are you suggesting a National Sales Tax IN PLACE 
OF Income Tax ?

Carl, I'm afraid you are right, it would probably work better.  Of course,
then the black-market would kick in..... Either way, I'm for a flat tax or
the next best, the national sales tax.
