A couple of other things to look for.  Make sure the user that "signed" on
to FTP is in the system distribution directory
and has authority to the folder he/she is trying to FTP to.

Usually when I ftp from a PC to the 400 on a shared folder I can transfer
from the PC to a shared folder specifying /QDLS/FOLDERNAME/FILENAME. Yet
when at a client site, I continually get the error message 501 saying that
it cannot create the file. Its interpreting the Liberia/folder/file as
library/file/member.
Has any experienced the same problem? What is the solution? The user is in
the Directory Entry. I have initiated STRTCPSRV *FTP.
