Hi all.

I have two trivial questions regarding CA that must have been answered long ago, when I was not on the list. If anybody has new / old postings on the subject, please send me a helping hand. ( Please refer to CA 3.1.3, service pack none, W95 ).

1 - Device naming : how can I change passthru names ( QPADEV... ) to cusotmized ones ? ( The workstation ID field in Communication pop-up menu, Configure option, is inhibited ). I use winsock TCP/IP connections.

The real issue is to stop dynamic sequential name allocation from QLUS, I guess ...

2 - Session naming : connecting to several AS/400's, I'd like to have session named by the model ( or S/N, whatever ... ) of each AS/400, not to have Session A, Session B, etc. In fact I have to remeber each day which session goes to which AS, which is at least stupid.

Thanks,
Andre
