The current (3.3) release of the "EDI Integrator "
is supported on v3r1 and up.  Our next release
(4.0) should be the same except for some
'advanced' features that I believe will require
v3r7 and up, but that could change.  I'm sure
marketing would provide an older release for those
that have releases prior to v3r1.

The decision to drop support for a version is a
tough one.  We are not locked into a set policy
but roughly it is six months after the extended
IBM support period, but that could change and
has!!

If Development was really in control, the release
policies that we made would work but it's the
Marketing tail that wags the dog! :)
