Thank you for your patience. I didn't get the box about the build. But now I see options that I didn't see before. I think I might have been typing in FTP before. Lowercase shows you more. I always click the maximize effectiveness of search option, rather than make the help db small. (3) after a snooze period, you'll get a text search box, and come up with some options. I got one more than you did: Command Select this one, and you get an a to z index; down below the f, you will see two options: ftp ftp command You'll want to look at both of these. The first gives the command line options The second gives the subcommands, such as mput. HTH, Carl Friedberg, Carl@comets.com ------------------------------------- I don't see ftp utility. I only see: file transfer protocol (FTP) FTP Windows NT glossary Neither of which explain subcommands. townsend@patownsend.com on 10/21/98 01:00:19 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com@Internet cc: Subject: Re: FTP.EXE Terry, On my Windows NT system I do Start, Help, and search for FTP. Look at the topic for "ftp utility". Patrick Terry Grider wrote: > > Where can you find documentation for the FTP.EXE program.
