Bruce, You can use the telnet command on the AS/400 to start a terminal session on a Unix box just from an AS/400 command line. From an RPG program you can invoke QCMDEXC and run telnet, too. Although AS/400 telnet may be weird when you try to do stuff on the Unix box (vi is gonna act funny), you can do it and I've done it many times. Is this what you mean, or are you talking about capturing telnet data streams under RPG program control?
