I do a LOT of system support and this week I have had to IPL not one
but Two customer AS/400s because of problems. One for a runaway token
ring adaptor and the other a hung TCP/IP device. Initially this made me
just a bit 'depressed' as I don't like resorting to IPLs (especially
customers systems) to solve problems. The AS/400 is better than that.

AND THEN, both problems were determined to be fixed by PTFs. On CUMS.
For 9+ Months. (and they were HIPERS as well I believe). Both systems
were at least 3 CUM Levels back.

Guess what the customers are doing this weekend.
