One for a runaway token ring adaptor and the other a hung TCP/IP device. Initially this made me just a bit 'depressed' as I don't like resorting to IPLs (especially customers systems) to solve problems. The AS/400 is better than that. AND THEN, both problems were determined to be fixed by PTFs. On CUMS. For 9+ Months. (and they were HIPERS as well I believe). Both systems were at least 3 CUM Levels back. Guess what the customers are doing this weekend.
