David, Being the DataMirror Guy I don't know as much as I SHOULD about the competition, but I THINK Promoter will move a changed DB File to the backup system (such as if the record layout is changed). IF that is correct, then Yes, the newest addition to the DataMirror product line, DBMirror will do that. It is part of the High Availability suite and it only works between AS/400's. IF what I guessed is incorrect then pleast explain and I'll let you know how DM can do it.
