Chuck,

What we are doing here is using "boat anchor" PC's as the "host" for the 
printers.  One setup is a Compaq 386Sx, twinax attach, DOS PC Support.  This is 
basically a no-cost setup because it uses obsolete equipment and no additional 
charge software.  I prefer it to connecting to the back of a terminal because 
it doesn't use any additional twinax addresses.

The magic besides using them as 400 printers is using them as networked 
printers.  Client Access can access them fine and you will be able to use them 
as if they were directly attached.
