Couple of Points: 1. If the above person didn't ask any questions, he didn't understand the problem..... 2. If ATS was his only source of training,,, he was in sad shape...... It is a good source of very basic information, but NOTHING replaces somebody with experience showing you "how"... 3. Learning the basic rules of RPG,CL,etc... are simple enough, but system and program design ONLY come from experience.... from somebody else..... NO books or courses will show you the way...... 4. If learning new things, styles, "tricks" aren't the major thrust of this list, what is it ? 5. A good bit of what is really shared here, is "experience"... from all levels and many different perspectives..... +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
