Wayne, Out here in the northwest, we had leased lines to satalite offices and checked into frame relay. A couple of things came up: 1) voice over frame does work but the phone company said it couldn't be done. There is a "frame relay forum" on the net that has published several white papers on voice over frame and FRAD's. Try frforum.com 2) a 56k frame relay out here is only guaranteed to be 28.8 3) Installation cost is $1,000 at each end. 4) frame cost $65/mo no long distance charges. 5) between the phone company small business ISDN (less than 20 phone circuits) for $125 intall and $65/mo and a local ISP with "office online" for 250 hours the price/performance beat frame. This has two 64k channels and using ISP's at each end eliminated long distance charges. Actually the receiving end (AS/400) is on the ISDN connection and the remote offices are using a 56k dial and Wingate to connect via Telnet. 6) Security was not an issue. HTH James W.
