Stephen,
What I usually do is setup a QM Query and use the STRQMQRY command,
eg...
STRQMQRY QMQRY(HGR0093/CCMSDBFTP1) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) +
QMFORM(*SYSDFT) OUTFILE(QTEMP/CCMSFTP) +
DATETIME(*NO) PAGNBR(*NO) NAMING(*SAA)

Hello, I am just curious if someone can answer a stupid question for me. I need to update a Database Feild and want to know if I can do that with OPNQRYF in a CL or if I will have to code it in COBOL to access the Database.
