Haven't heard about this _particular_ decision, but where have you been for
the last two years ;-)?  CISC is dead, regardless of how all of us feel about
it.  This brings up the sad realization that we haven't heard from our two big
CISC proponents in the former Soviet Union lately -- the two "Daves".  Anyone
heard from them lately?  The list is diminished by their absence, IMHO...
