All -- I was surfing www.Search400.com (uh ... I was WORKING ... uh ... yeah! <grin>), and found an article by Roger "Rah-Jah" Pence that is MOST interesting. (I still think Roger looks like Andy Warhol. No! Wait! He looks like the owner guy on "News Radio" <grin>) According to Rah-Jah, IBM's coming out with a "Client Express" version of CA/400 that has a MUCH smaller footprint. It runs over TCP/IP with nothing else. BUT ... <frown> ... it requires V4R2 or later. This SOUNDS great ... but I guess IBM is REALLY putting on the pressure to move to the latest RISC-based platform. Anyone else heard anything about this? Any beta sights who can speak up??
