I've found that it will often decide that it needs to load drivers,
re-boot, etc. if you as much as touch the "OK" button instead of "Cancel"
regardless of whether you touched/changed anything.  I have found however
that you don't need the CD (or an image) the thing is stupid enough to be
happy if you simply point it at the files it already has loaded !!  I found
this out when I tried it in desperation when Win 95 decided that it had
found new hardware 5 minutes before I was due to start a presentation!!  If
you don't know where they are just do a Find Files after the "Where is it
?" prompt is displayed.



PS.  I envy you your once-a-day reboot.  I think I've had to reboot a
minimum of twice a day (often with the whole Check Disk deal because it
didn't shut down properly) ever since I got this laptop a month ago.
