We are often using TCP/IP Client Access and getting 5250 sessions using that. On one of our AS/400's we have Inactivity timeout set to 3600 instead of the default of 0. Now if I leave my 5250 session idle for an hour, (like go to lunch after activating the NT password protected screen saver), the session drops like a pair of mooners trousers - with the same view. I have to click on Communication Connect within the session to get it back. All data on the screen not saved is lost and you are returned back to the signon screen. We are thinking fast on setting that back to 0.
