My apologies for not clarifying this point. Our AS/400 sits on a token-ring network. Ethernet currently runs as a separate network that we would like to connect as a segment to the token-ring backbone. We are planning to convert our system to fast ethernet however, the process is slow and costly. As part of the preliminary testing, I'd like to connect an ethernet segment to the existing network so that AS/400 access is possible through those [ethernet] machines. Larry, I attempted to use the NT server as a router previously but was unable to see "anyone" on the token-ring side. However, I didn't configure any routes on the AS/400 system so you may have already solved my problem. I'll work on that next.
