We're trying to suspend a batch job while it's active without it
plugging the subsystem. We have a purge that runs periodically over
night and some time the next day. When we come in the morning, we want
to suspend that active batch purge until the next evening.

Lloyd:
We have a job queue called NIGHTQ that we keep held during the
day. People can
submit jobs to it all day long. The last step of the night time
processing
releases the job queue and submits a job to NIGHTQ to hold it
again after
everything is processed.
