Loyd, You can use the DSPFD command to send a list of the files members to an outfile and then read through the generated file, or you can use an API to generate a list of the file's members to a user space and process the list of members from there. For the API's refer to "OS/400 Object APIs " http://AS400BKS.rochester.ibm.com:80/cgi-bin/bookmgr/bookmgr.cmd/BOOKS/Q BJAMQ00/CCONTENTS John Compton <john.compton@heiligmeyers.com> IBM Certified Specialist - RPG The opinions expressed by me are not necessarily those of my employer, yet > -----Original Message----- > From: Goodbar, Loyd (AFS-Water Valley) [SMTP:LGoodbar@afs.bwauto.com] > Sent: Tuesday, August 04, 1998 10:29 AM > To: 'Midrange-L' > Subject: Retrieving member names > > In CL, how do I retrieve a list of database member names?
