As I recall, you had to be careful when you did this. Doesn't the sign-on
display DDS have to be an exact size, or length (or something), or is this
no longer the case.

You can always "roll-your-own". I can't find the code snippet's right now.
But it amounts to creating message file
and adding messages desc. to it. I liked to make them 78 char long(so as
not to wrap the screen). Then Code the
signon display file to reference the message file(check the DDS manual). I
remember helping write some RPG/CL
program to change the message file, you know center, colors, ect.

 Subject: Signon Screen Application

Hello all,
I while back I received info regarding a utility that allowed dynamic
messages to be placed (I believe) on the sign on screen. Unfortunately I
misplaced the advert (or it is lost on my desk). I am looking to post
System Status, Daily Tips, Message of the day sort of stuff. If anyone
has info on using such an animal I would appreciate any input or info.
Vendor Emails and calls welcome
