I believe ERWin has a AS/400 schema generator. I have an eval copy in my office, but I haven't had the time to look at it. -Walden -----Original Message----- From: DAsmussen@aol.com [mailto:DAsmussen@aol.com] Sent: Friday, July 10, 1998 5:11 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Re: Data Modeling on the AS/400 Jon, In a message dated 98-07-10 15:06:30 EDT, you write: > Hi there folks - I have a BP asking me for advice on a data modeling tool for > AS/400. Haven't seen many _true_ data modeling tools for the /400. The various CASE tools take a stab at it, but fall short because their forte (and focus) is lower CASE. There used to be a product called "The Visible Analyst" that would actually create DDS, but I don't remember who wrote it and haven't seen it in so long it may no longer be around. IEF was supposed to come up with a /400 interface at one time, but don't know if they ever followed through after TI sold that division. Sorry, not much help, but a couple of places to look...
