True. But unlike the QQQQRY based tools (Query, SQL, OPNQRYF) this never
made sense to me. Why does a setting in RPG govern how data management
return rows to the HLL?

use a
logical file in the F spec of an RPG program without the (K) for process
by key
that the program will also revert to accessing the file by arrival
sequence?
