Has anyone a fix or ideas on this?

PC had WIN98 CA installed and working with service pack SF45545.

My guru boss deleted CA directory without uninstalling first.

When I try to reinstall CA from source CD I get error message
saying that I must uninstall service pack SF45545.

How can I uninstall somthing that is not there?
Where is service pack info hidden?

   Thanks

   Jim
