  • Subject: Windows95 printing to AFP 3816

I am trying to print from Windows 95 to an IBM 3816 (AFP) printer attached to
our AS400 and getting mostly garbage. To add the printer in Windows 95 I used
the Add Printer wizard and everything went fine, even the test page looks
great. Even now the "Print Test Page" option from the General tab on the
printer properties prints a good page. When I print from Windows some things,
mostly graphics, print fine but most of the text is garbage. Has anyone run
into a similar problem and if so any ideas on how to correct? BTW, the Paper
tab on my IBM AFP 3816 Properties is specifying a Code Page of T1001004. I am
not sure if this is correct, it's the default the wizard put there.

Thanks in advance.
