Pete,

I'm not sure what support RPG 2 has for 4 digit years, but you can always CALL 
an RPG 3 or 4 program to retrieve the date if nothing else works. RPG2 does 
support the CALL op code, although it will probably warn you that CALL may not 
function if you try to run it on a "real" S/36.
