I am sitting here trying to decide what the impact is. Is this a nothing, a mere trifle, a minimal experience, or does it have significance beyond my ken? Following an example provided, I just wrote an RPG program with a program described sequential file on my C:\ drive. I made the file, added records, updated records, and deleted records on the C:\ drive with an RPG program. Next I think I will see if I can have both an AS/400 file and a PC file in the same RPG program, swapping information one to the other. Am I over reacting? Is this really no big deal? Or has IBM's Stealth Marketing Team(tm) decided to provide us with a whole new set of solutions? -- ----------------------------------------------------------- boothm@ibm.net Booth Martin ----------------------------------------------------------- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
