If you are talking about that strange looking black key, ours had a tab on it 
that says to reorder send the tag and $13 to:

I don't know if it's different between the models but I lost the keys
for my E35 a few years ago and ordered a new set from some place in the
states.  I think I just needed the key number which is on the lock and
the machine serial number.  IBM gave me the phone number to call.

Of course I found the keys a few months later.
