You'd probably need to look at Midrange Computing's or NEWS400's CDs or
archives.

We're looking at a product called ZMOD/400. Amongst other things, it
implements the ZMODEM file tranfer protocol of bulletin board fame. It lets
you write scripts that wait for responses from the bank, then send
appropriate characters.

This is pretty neat. It probably uses ICF files to implement the process,
but it's transparent to you, and cheaper than writing something.
