As far as I have heard, there are two improvements in V4R2 compared to V4R1: 1) Possibility to name the device (and therefor the job and the device-msgq) instead of the QPADEVxxx and 2) a native 'emulated printer' through TCP/IP in CA/400. I'm yet myself on V4R1, so I'm not sure. Unfortunately the free upgradeoffer (see http://users.cybercity.dk/~dko3534/sw.html ) does not apply to those small 150's, so I might have to buy either one of those add-on's or an uppgrade to V4R1. Pls excuse any spelling errors. English isn't my native lng. Corrections to my brand-new site http://users.cybercity.dk/~dko3534/ are welcome (most appropriate directly to henrik.krebs@scout.net). Ta. Btw: No matter what will work and what will not - which IS interesting - then good programming style dictates: CL-'streams' (Sourcetype CL) has no PGM/ENDPGM, CL-programs (sourcetype CLP) is intended to have (ans should have) PGM/ENDPGM. -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: Gary Feinstein <gfeinste@planethollywood.com> Til: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> Dato: 21. maj 1998 23:36 Emne: Re: IP Clients >Shadrach, > Take a look at NIPrint from Network Instruments.
