DO NOT USE THE 56kb PCMCIA HAYES OPTIMA! IT HAS SOME MAJOR AUTOSYN PROBLEMS!!!!! AS IN IT MAY NOTBE THERE! The lower speeds seem to be fine...also there's some generic brands that work well.. If in doubt, call the boys at Micro Integration...their product requires a modem with autosync and they've checked out alot of them...and sell them... The Hayes internals seem to work fine....and I'm using them...it's a PCMCIA problem only so far...
