Dear midrange-l,
I'm trying to get set up so I can dial into an AS/400 from home via their
ECS port. The target site has CA/400 and can provide me with the client
software.
I've got a 7855 modem & a used IBM SDLC card. I got the card from a dealer
- no docs, just a card.
When I configure CA/400 it doesn't seem to see the card. I ran Windows NT
diagnostics and looked in the resource panel - couldn't see any evidence of
the SDLC card using an IRQ or address on the ISA bus.
Is my used card DOA or have I missed something? Do I need a driver or some
other software not provided with CA/400?
Thanks y'all
