I do not recomend the retrieve/change/compile method. Because you must redo/check your change after each ptf/release install. We created our own startup program and the 1rst thig it does is CALL QSYS/QSTRUP. Then it does all of our stuff (strart qsnads ...). this way, if IBM changes there startup program, we have the change to. Denis Robitaille Cascades inc.
