It has been a long time since I looked at the DOD C2 security book, but I thought that tape security was a requirement for C2 rating? Can anyone confirm/deny this? -Walden -----Original Message----- From: mcsnet!midrange.com!midrange-l-owner@Mcs.Net [mailto:mcsnet!midrange.com!midrange-l-owner@Mcs.Net]On Behalf Of O'Connor, Peter H. For example, John can't use volume 123456. He would get a NOT AUTHORIZED to this volume. This would mean that you could do with a media volume that you can do with an object of the 400. The idea is to restrict certain users to confidential data on volumes. I would like to know what the 400 community thinks of this and if has any value. Peter H. O'Connor PAE Inc. 7 Riverway Rd.
