SMTP receive on AS/400

I am trying to receive mail on the AS/400 send with a Internet mail client like Pegasus or Outlook express, but 
I don't seem to get it anywhere.
Pegasus tells me I don't have an @ in my message, but it IS there. Outlook just send te message to limboland.
 
Anyone??
 
I send it to a V3R7 and to a V4R1 machine?
