Here's an opportunity to exploit the behavior of FTP that everyone else
is moaning about. See if it doesn't truncate the records for you. If it
does the trick, get a copy of WS_FTP. It works fine with the AS/400 as
long as you configure it as if you were talking to another PC, doesn't
cost much, can be downloaded for free, and is easier to use and faster
than client access file transfer.
